A very interesting interview was given to nafsgreen.gr by Simone Trevale, Sales Manager, Lupi Srl.
More specifically, the interview has as follows:
NAFS: Lupi is the name of the founding family founded in 1914 and a literal translation from the Italian is “Wolf”. What triggered this inspiration for the name Lupi-Wolf?
S.T: We were inspired by this slight but important change of logo with the face of the WOLF because we recognize ourselves in its character: aggressive, fast and agile, but, of course, we never forget our history. This change also indicates the new beginning with Lupi after the recent merger.
NAFS: Your goal is that “with the new combined organizations, we will react like wolves with speed and agility and work tirelessly to serve all our customers”. How are you going to do this while waiting for a bright future together?
S.T: Thanks to our long experience in the sector. We are constantly growing because we are able to establish a relationship of trust and honesty with our customers. We have had the good fortune to collaborate for years with agents all over the world (find the list on our new website: www.lupisrl.com), who constantly update us on market news and the actions of our competitors.
NAFS: Lupi and Marine Parts have recently been merged into Lupi SRL and a new era has begun in Lupi’s long history. That merger was so necessary and why?
S.T: The management of both companies decided that there would be synergies with such a merger and allow the combined operation to approach the market in a stronger way to meet the demands of the market in the future.
NAFS: Both companies are strong in maritime and electrical power applications and will become a significant force globally. How will you guarantee continuity and the best support and presence?
S.T: We have considerable experience in the global business and will continue to do our utmost to support all current and new customers.
NAFS: Is there anything you need to change to improve the efficiency of your actions and what will it be?
S.T: We must always improve our efficiency both in contact with customers and with deliveries. We have two warehouses, one in Genoa (Italy) and one in Singapore. Quality is always our strength as we are fortunate to have a technical office of great experience and competence. Continuous improvement will help us to serve our customers to meet their needs.
NAFS: As for the global expedition, what do you think will be the current challenges and highlights of future trends that will shape the development of one of the most important sectors in the world?
S.T: We must try to keep up to date, anticipating the new challenges that the marine market will offer us. The next few years will be very important. Shipping continues to ride an increasingly turbulent market. Recent tensions in the Persian Gulf and the coming legislation for low sulphur fuels starting in 2020, means there is tremendous caution about the future for a ship operator.. We will remain alert to the market needs and where we can help serve our customers for more efficient operations.
NAFS: Explain in a few words what the following points mean for you: a) More than 100 years of experience b) innovation and
professionalism at every stage of production c) ONE TO ONE report d) constant research and analysis of the material to ensure perfect match with the original parts e) Global service
S.T: a)the story speaks for itself!. Despite the changing landscape we have continued to grow stronger. b)We continuously work with the development of new products that will help keep the operator competitive. c) Better strategy, work like a team and establish a strong credibility with our agents and our customers. d)All our production is certified by DNVGL ISO 9001 e) We can deliver worldwide with speed and professionalism f) remember to visit our new website: www.lupisrl.com
