COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry Technology (Weihai) Co., Ltd is pleased to announce that participated in the event of Hellenic Maritime Forum through its local representative Armonia Trading & Commercial Applications Limited.

It has developed main products including ballast water management system (BWMS), alternative marine power system (AMPS), New Energy Fuel Supply System (LNG FGSS/FASS/LFSS-methanol). CHIT has a research and development team, a biological detection team and an optimization design team composed of doctors and masters, and has established an electrical laboratory, an environmental laboratory and a ballast water test base. According to the press release:
"Blue Ocean Shield (BOS) BWMS with two hours holding time, type
approved by United States Coast Guard since September 2019. BOS BWMS adopts pure UV technology, which is mature and has no side effects. It is non-corrosive to ballast tanks and pipeline, with low maintenance cost and simple in operation. It has been widely installed on various types of ships, including bulk carriers, container ships, VLCCs, Semi-submersible ships, multi-purpose ships, etc. For now, BOS BWMS has been type approved by 12 class societies and 4 administrations around the world.

Alternative Marine Power System-to stop using ship’s AE when the ship docks
at the wharf, and then connecting to land power supply system to supply power to ship’s consumer.

HV shore based laboratory, which truly simulate the connection between high-voltage
shore based power supply and marine power station
BOS-AMP Shore based laboratory, to simulate shore based power supply system BOS-AMP Ship based laboratory, to simulate ship’s MSB

New Energy Fuel Supply System (LNG FGSS/FASS/LFSS-Methanol)
