Gazpromneft–Lubricants To Increase Marine Lubricants Sales In The First Half Of 2017

Gazpromneft–Lubricants, the Gazprom Neft oil business operator, has sold 7.4 thousand tons of marine lubricants in the first half of 2017, which is 7.5% more than at the same period of 2016.

Thus, the company remains the leader of the Russian lubricants market for river and sea vessels.
The marine lube oils supply chain has expanded in 2017 to include new Caspian sea ports. The most demanded products in the first half were cylinder engine oils Texaco Taro 30 DP 40 and Delo 1000 Marine 40 for four-stroke marine engines that are used on icebreakers, tankers, container ships, cruise ships and other types of vessels for main engines and diesel generators.
Another 2017 trend is the rising demand for lubricants for marine engines operating on low sulfur and environmentally friendly fuel. Gazpromneft–Lubricants has increased the sales volume of such products 9 times - up to 140 tons.
