On Friday, February 25, Franman officially celebrated the New Year with the traditional cutting of the Pitta.
At the same event, awards were given to employees who distinguished themselves in 2021.
Franman had decided to postpone the event until the end of February due to COVID restrictions, thus allowing it to take place live.
The New Year's cake cutting and the awards’ ceremony took place at the Grand Hyatt hotel and dinner followed at The Grand by Interni restaurant on the rooftop of the hotel.
It was an opportunity for employees to get together in a pleasant atmosphere and to set the tone for 2022.
Opening the event, Costis Frangoulis, Franman’s CEO, presented the Franman timeline and the firm’s ethos as expressed in the slogan “Your Business, Our Obsession” which accurately conveys the Franman culture.
He made particular reference to the growing portfolio of services, and the two newest additions - Ship Supplies and Cargo Holds Cleaning.
"2021 found us properly prepared," Costis Frangoulis said.
"United and well-organized, in the midst of a pandemic with its multiple challenges, we all celebrated Franman's 30-year anniversary together.
30 years of continuous development and progress. We are an increasingly strong and capable team. I am confident that in 2022 we will continue an impressive, upward course in all areas of our activity."
