SAFEEN Feeders joins Stena Sonangol Suezmax Pool 

The Stena Sonangol Suezmax Pool, a joint venture between leading tanker shipping company Stena Bulk, and the Angolan state-owned oil company, Sonangol, have announced SAFEEN Feeders, part of the Maritime & Shipping Cluster of AD Ports Group, as new pool members.

Renewal of the Term of Office of the Representative of Greece at the "IMO Goodwill Maritime Ambassador" Institution

In the framework of the institution of the "Maritime Ambassador" (IMO Goodwill Maritime Ambassador) which is an initiative of the Secretary General of the Organization, Mr. Arsenio Domínguez and following a relevant request of the Organization, at the Ministry of Maritime and Insular Policy, the renewal of the term of office of President of the Eugenides Foundation, Mr. Leonidas Dimitriadis – Eugenides, as a "Maritime Ambassador", with the awarding of a "Certificate" by the Minister of Shipping and Insular Policy, Mr. Christos Stylianidis, for his active contribution to the effort to highlight the work of the IMO.

The targeting of this institution, that is the attraction of young people to the maritime profession, is a priority for the Ministry of Shipping and Island Policy of Greece and is fully in line with the constant pursuit of highlighting and supporting the human capital of shipping.
The Minister of Shipping and Insular Policy of Greece, in his related statement, applauded the renewal of the term of office of Mr. Eugenides as the shipping ambassador and pointed out the need for the presence of notable personalities of our country in international organizations.

In a corresponding statement, the President of the Eugenides Foundation, thanked Mr. Stylianidis for the long-term trust he receives from the Ministry of Shipping and Island Policy and emphasized that the upgrading of the image of shipping, the safety of navigation, and the protection of the marine environment they are goals of primary value and concern all those who fight for a better future of the new generation.

OCEAN Alliance Announces Further Extension for Another 5 Years

Orient Overseas Container Line Limited is pleased to announce that the company and other three members of OCEAN Alliance including CMA CGM, COSCO SHIPPING and Evergreen signed documents to agree on the extension of the OCEAN Alliance for five years, until March 31, 2032.
