OCIMF begins phased roll out of new SIRE 2.0 tanker inspection programme

The Oil Companies International Marine Forum (OCIMF) has announced that it has begun the phased roll-out of its new digitalised tanker inspection programme, SIRE 2.0, which will replace the existing Ship Inspection Report Programme (SIRE) used by the marine industry to assess a vessel's condition and operational standards.

Another 24,188 TEU Container Vessel “OOCL Turkiye” Joins OOCL’s Fleet

Orient Overseas Container Line Ltd. (“OOCL”) is delighted to welcome one more new mega-vessel joining its fleet. Officially named as “OOCL Turkiye” at a ceremony held at Nantong COSCO KHI Ship Engineering Co., Ltd. (“NACKS”) shipyard, this new vessel becomes the third 24,188TEU vessel to be received by OOCL in a series of twelve.

Grimaldi's new "G5" vessel Great Lagos launched

Just two days after the celebrations for the delivery of the Great Antwerp, the Grimaldi Group's first “G5” class ro-ro multipurpose unit, a new ceremony was held this morning at the Hyundai Mipo Dockyard Co. Ltd. in Ulsan (South Korea) for the launching of her sister ship Great Lagos.
