On January 12 Panama local time, ZPMC and PSA Panama International Terminal held a signing ceremony of delivering 4 STS cranes,
indicating that the 8 STS cranes built by ZPMC for the terminal were delivered with zero rectification nearly one month ahead of time. Mr. Alessandro Cassinelli, General Manager of PSA Panama International Terminal, and his party attended the delivery ceremony.
In the process of delivering the batch of STS cranes, the terminal user paid close attention to the overall quality of the STS cranes and electrical debugging and invited quality engineers of the third party from ABS Singapore and transferred the manager of the equipment department of PSA Turkey to comprehensively control the progress and quality of the project. In the process of construction, they put forward requirements for lifting tooling quality inspection, hoist lifting lug flaw detection, high strength bolt installation technology, etc.
To this end, the on-site engineers and construction personnel of ZPMC communicated with the supervisor and the user every day to deal with various issues timely. As ZPMC controlled the quality very strictly in the early stage, the on-site debugging and endurance tests were progressed smoothly with the user's full participation in the whole process. It only took 6 days to complete all of the tasks. Finally, from unloading, unbinding, pulling beams, installing hoists and wire ropes, lifting, installation and recovery, commissioning and endurance test to signing for delivery, the delivery team of ZPMC perfectly completed the delivery task nearly one month ahead of time and achieved zero rectification during delivery.
The terminal user thought highly of the excellent performance of the on-site delivery team of ZPMC, specially wrote a letter to praise the team, and looks forward to continuously cooperating with ZPMC in the future.
